Description of LamsonSharp 10-Inch Forged Slicer
The LamsonSharp Ebony Forged Cutlery Series features a one-piece, forged, full tang blade made of hardened and tempered high-carbon stainless steel from Soligen, Germany. The Dymondwood® resin-infused wood handles are heat and water resistant, they are triple riveted with nickel silver rivets for perfect balance and weight. The taper-ground blades are polished, hand-edged and honed. As a special gift with your purchase, this knife will be shipped in its own KnifeSafe?. This knife will be Sharp for Life, with the unique free factory knife sharpening program. All LamsonSharp products are proudly made in the USA and carry a lifetime warranty.Designed for larger jobs, this 10-inch slicing and carving knife features a hand-honed and beveled edge designed for parceling thick and thin slices of turkey, ham, and beef. It also works equally well on cabbage and wild boar. Sharpen the blade regularly with a steel to make slicing seem like sleight-of-hand, especially when serving to guests and family at the dinner table.
Hand forged from high-carbon stainless steel, the blade is taper ground for extra sharpness, and the tang extends all the way through the ergonomic Black Delrin plastic handle, which is triple riveted with brass to create the essential heft and balance one expects from a quality carving tool.
